I should have known that it was far too good to be true. After all, why should I think that the one decent bloke I've met who might be interested in me as more than just a friend, interested in me as a woman, might turn into something that lasts? And I feel like an idiot, because I know it's his job and it really is a fabulous opportunity for him. Had our places been reversed, I likely would do the same. And it isn't as if we were in love or anything that serious. I just..can't help but wonder what might have been. Perhaps after a night in with some ice cream and ridiculous movies or a sappy romance novel of some sort, I might feel better.

I have much to say on the subject of making Wolfsbane more readily available to those who need it. However, those thoughts will have to wait until I'm feeling less like I've been run over by a bus.

Thank you both for your visits. I'm still feeling pretty off, but it's marginally better than the last few days. I'm hoping another day or two will let me get over it all completely.
And then I demand that we have dinner again together. Please? |

I..don't think I feel so well. I left work about an hour early today, since I was able to pretty much catch up on what I needed to, but it just..hasn't been good since then.

I remembered today why I don't usually care to shop without a list of specific items in mind. But I did manage to find (albeit with some help!) a number of lovely clothes, so I suppose I can't really complain! |

I have to admit that I'm glad I usually keep a decent stock of Pepper Up potion at home. It seems like everyone in the office today was talking about how they needed some. I don't know what it is that's going around, but I'm hoping I don't catch it. I was feeling a little off this morning, but I figured I was just a little tired.
Either way, pizza and ice cream sound really good. Does anybody else want some? |

I went out to dinner alone last night and met a bloke who asked me on a date. And I said yes, only the date is tonight and I have no idea what I'm doing or what I'm going to wear or any of that. It was really good to see you last night, Harry and Ron. I've missed spending time with you like that. We'll have to do that more often!
All I'm hearing in the office today is excitement over the Quidditch season starting on Saturday. I'm afraid I can't muster up the same enthusiasm; I do watch it every once in a while, but I suppose I just haven't found myself particularly attached enough to any one team, so I've never been as much a fan as many of my peers.
What's this talk of dragons in Diagon, by the way? I wonder if we'll ever find out what it was. |
